The Cumberland County Board of Education met the previous evening electronically as per COVID-19 rules. Here are features from the gathering: 


NEW DIRECTOR OF SCHOOLS SEARCH TO PROCEED 


The Cumberland County Board of Education examined the quest for another executive of schools in their gathering the previous evening. Educational committee part Robbie Safdie began with a movement to give current Director of School Janet Graham a 1 year agreement to get educational system through and out of the COVID-19 episode the educational system is confronting. The movement got a second by Tom Netherton.

Speculative DATES SET FOR CLASS OF 2020 GRADUATION IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY 


Speculative graduation dates for the Class of 2020 in Cumberland County will be Friday, June 26 for Phoenix School, Monday, June 29 for Stone Memorial and Tuesday, June 30 for CCHS. Plans to be declared soon of how the functions will be held.
